This Howards Cams 120406-12 BBC Gen 6 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft is designed for 454-502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy engines from 1996 through 1999. Howards designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features strong mid-range torque & horsepower with a rough idle. A 10.0:1+ compression ratio, an aftermarket/ported intake, headers, lower rear end gears, and a 3000+ stall speed torque converter come highly recommended.
